The Essential Electronic Agriculture Library (TEEAL) is an electronic collection of full-text articles, abstracts and graphics from 140 agriculture science journals.  A project of Cornell University’s Albert R. Mann Library, TEEAL was launched in 1996 with funding from the Rockefeller Foundation to provide a cost-effective resource for agricultural researchers in developing countries worldwide.

For this latest version of TEEAL, Cornell once again chose to partner with Contegra Systems to redesign and enhance the application.  Most important for its global distribution, TEEAL is now delivered via a portable storage device, making distribution of more than 5 million pages of information more economical and convenient than ever before.  With a new user interface, TEEAL now operates in a Web browser environment and incorporates more advanced search and navigation technology, making searching and browsing faster, easier and more intuitive.
